My name is Yuvasy Ascanio I am a Lawyer and Certified Translator (English – Spanish) from Venezuela.
Besides my law degree from a recognized University of Venezuela I have postgraduate studies in Commercial and Procedural Law in France and Venezuela, I have also a Diploma on translation and legal translation in Venezuela; and I have been certified as a public translator in English language by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Justice and Peace of Venezuela.
Currently I work as a freelance translator and proofreader for local and foreign translation companies. I have experience translating for international readers which requires a translation made in neutral Spanish, but I am also proficient in dealing with localization of the document for a specific country, mainly in South or Central America.
I have knowledge in the use of CAT tools, currently I am using MemoQ.
