I focus on conducting thorough research through literature, art, technical data analysis, and but not limited to, communications to dig into people's needs and provide creative solutions. I Co-Authored and designed three major universal accessibility policy guidelines, two toolkits and over 150 audit handbooks for the Indian Government and UNICEF with expert teams; 94% implemented and one awarded.
I served Executive position for two years at Samarthyam-National NGO for creating accessible environments. During the course, I lead sensitization and training workshops for over 200 Civil engineers, architects and approx. 150 Government officials and school teachers in over seven cities in India. Apart from being an Urban planner, Consultant, Accessibility planner, I have also successfully practiced a manager role in HR and quality management for over an year in a customer-service based company.
My recent immigration to Canada (during the pandemic) challenged me to explore a new adventure in distribution centers and operations management in a well-known retail brand company. As an urban planner, I considered the challenge as an independent open field study. It helped me understand the significance of urban logistics through participative evaluations and how they supported thousands of people survive the pandemic with jobs.
