During my previous role as a Creative sales and design manager, I worked as a coordinator between sales, technical team, procurement and design for Prefab and Modular housing design and manufacture company in Shanghai. I developed a system to ensure every department is connected and each project ensured the schedule of the deadline and the quality of work exceeded expectations.
During my 9 years working in multi-modal companies in different countries, working with cross-functional teams enhanced my skills in relationship-building and to collaboratively worked in an environment where people shared the same vision and goal:

13-16: After graduating from university, I worked as a junior architect, leading to a position of Licensed Architect/Project Manager in a mid-sized design and build company in the Philippines. Due to its size, everything was done and facilitated by each of the staff. With my 3 years experience in this company, I handled 7 projects including 3 residential, 2 mixed-use buildings and 2 commercial establishments from the Design Schemes, meeting with clients, contractor bidding, managing construction to the client turnover. And also this year, I acquired an on-site training internship for housing heritage conservation in Barcelona.
16-17: I worked as an Interior Engineer for an Interior and furniture supplier in Dubai. I coordinated and managed mostly the furniture selection, presentation to clients and to ensure that the supply and procurement were on schedule. The nature of the company is a fast-pacing demand and supply of furniture across the projects in UAE. Due to this nature, I gained confidence working under pressure.
17-19: After Dubai, I got an opportunity to work as an urban designer for UrbanData Inc. Shanghai, China. I gained most skills in researching and collaboration working in a multidisciplinary team and research on most projects the company has across in China. In November 2019, my research on urban planning comparing the cities of Shanghai and Dubai got a spot in an event called the Big5 and I was one of the speakers in the urban planning category held in Dubai. The Big 5 is the construction event providing leading-edge innovation, knowledge, and business opportunities for industry players around the world to connect, grow, and succeed.

19-20: I worked as a Technical coordinator in an international Interior company called Space Matrix in Shanghai, China. At that time, they were starting up their Hongkong branch. Most of my work was involved in supplying support and assistance to the Hongkong branch with test fit layouts, detailed technical drawings, preparation of fully coordinated and accurate sets of construction with the timeline schedule and project standards and specifications. All communications and exchange of information were done virtually as I was working in the Shanghai branch office.
20-22: I worked as a Creative design and sales manager in a Prefab and Modular design and manufacture in Shanghai, China. During my time, I proposed new designs and technical processes to accelerate the production of prefab houses, standardized the modular items to which it boosted their sales in one year. Aside from the design and technical aspects, I helped the company build a new way to fast track the negotiation between the sales and the client by providing the clients' generated forms and easing out the unending back-and-forth system with sales, clients, technical team and the procurement department.
This is a brief summary of my experiences throughout the year related to design, construction and business. Thank you for having the time to read this letter. I am hoping that you can consider this application.
