Attributes that best describes:
I have worked in multiple environments that have strengthened my abilities - in student organizations, office environments, and for myself as an independent musician.
I am the president of one of the prominent student organizations at the University of Toronto, the University of Toronto Sports and Business Association (UTSB). We host the largest student-run sports business conference in Canada, pulling in speakers such as James Duthie, Michael Landsberg, James Mirtle, and John Bitove (Founder, Raptors). We get these speakers through the use of cold calling methods, and always sell out the event (400 tickets).
In addition, I co-organized the Euphony benefit concert at my high school - selling out over 250 seats in the process and coordinating over 20 musicians to play in one show. We used an extensive audition process to choose the best musicians to play at the show.
Through my position at the University of Toronto as Sponsorship Coordinator, I also managed the It's Free UofT Facebook and Twitter accounts, facilitating the increase of social media impressions by over 100%. I also worked on Game Day staffs for the Varsity Blues.
I have also had the fortune to work at two prominent sports business firms: Wasserman Media Group and Cosmos Sports. For the latter, much of it involved working during the weekends (for free) to work on Game Day staffs, which involved preparation and organization of events.
