I have been working as a People Operations and HR Manager for the last six and a half years. During my time at MeetEdgar (a bootstrapped SaaS startup), I managed a team of thirty-five. I was responsible for creating people processes that aligned with the company goals as well as the humans that worked there.
I am entrepreneurial by nature (I have owned a business) which means I thrive in fast-paced environments, troubleshooting and problem-solving. I’m a highly adaptable and flexible individual and I have experience working within multiple time zones, cultures and environments. My philosophy includes curiosity and empathy, great communication and accountability.

One of the accomplishments that I’m most proud of is launching a paid internship program for graduates of minority groups for them. The intent was to create a program where they could learn vital tools and experiences that would support them in their career journey. I successfully hired an individual to join our marketing department for six months, with a positive outcome. This person went on to secure a really rewarding role at the University of North Carolina to lead internal communication and data for the University’s DEI response team.
I have a deep desire to help and take care of others, all while being healthily obsessed with details and organization. I also currently hold a Human Resources certification (PHRi) and take a keen interest in continued learning in this field.
