I have a local business that allows me complete flexibility to set and manage my schedule as a multimedia designer and creative professional with an additional focus on music programming for children and adults. My functions include leading an employee, bookkeeping, web and graphic design, branding, social media management, marketing, event planning, developing curricula, educating through music and American Sign Language tools.

During Covid I was employed in a criminal law firm as a Finance Clerk and Law Clerk. Through this temporary employment I gained many additional skills in business administration, and relationship management. I am also accustomed to an environment where confidentiality information-sharing protocols are in high focus with this and my previous volunteering experience with Habitat for Humanity.

I learned most of my finance and admin position functions remotely due to COVID-19 with little in-person training and I am comfortable working minimal supervision. I was responsible for all financial processes for the firm, daily office administration tasks, processing of invoice payments, and managing client Trust accounts. I reviewed project dockets, agreements and financial records for completeness and accuracy as well as clerical tasks and general administrative functions such as legal transcription of Police interviews and 911 calls, requesting/processing disclosure, taking and recording client calls, managing staff schedules, taking payments, opening new project files, and processing completed files.

Collectively I have 12 years’ work experience in business administration, bookkeeping, design, and marketing. I have worked both collaboratively and independently and I am highly adaptable to changing circumstances. I am skilled in managing high volumes of information and applying a variety of tools and software to accomplish my objectives. I have expert knowledge of digital business systems and software including Quickbooks, BillingsPro, Daylite; as well as design and office software including MS365, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Wordpress, Squarespace, all social media platforms, Canva, Videopad, and Audacity.
