I am a dedicated undergraduate student in my final year of my Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Mental Health. Since I have changed degrees twice before I arrived in Neuroscience, I have a wide range background of knowledge including chemistry, ecology and geology. Having begun my undergraduate thesis this summer, I posses practical experience in a lab setting. My degree has provided me with a large amount of practice writing scientifically, and reading scientific literature. I posses the ability to critically assess the validity of an experiment's methods.
Aside from my scientific background, I am very involved in local theatre and improv. I hold a volunteer position as the Vice President Internal of my university's Improv Association. Our main goal is to bring students together over their love of drama and theatre. We teach and practice theatre skills, quick thinking, and confidence in our fellow students. I have also preformed in various plays and musicals in a volunteer capacity. My involvement with theatre has awarded me with the confidence to lead groups and work in front of crowds.
I bring passion to every activity I am involved in, and actively seek out new opportunities.
