Attributes that best describes:
As a recent Sport and Event Marketing graduate from George Brown College I developed specific marketing skills that will transfer to the workplace. My background in sports can bring a competitive nature that is vital to marketing and sales. With a Bachelors of Science in Sports Management from Sacred Heart University, I completed my degree while being on an athletic scholarship. As a student-athlete I understand the importance of effectively managing multiple projects while under pressure.
My hands-on sales experience with the Brampton Beast Professional Hockey Club educated me on front office hockey operations. Performing cold calls, developing new sales leads and handling incoming calls was part of my daily tasks. In my time with the Beast I was able to generate over $10,000 in ticket sales while performing over 80+ calls per day. I successfully organized and increased the attendance of the annual “Scouts Night” by 50%.
In recent months I have leveraged my sales experience into brand ambassador roles with Match and Inventa Marketing. These positions have enabled me to gain valuable knowledge in consumer engagement and face-to-face sales. Representing first-class clients such as Nespresso, RBC and CIBC has taught me the importance of maintaining customer and client relationships.
I believe that my level of education along with my passion and experience with sales will make a vital assets to any company.
