I have completed an undergraduate degree in photography at Ryerson University. This degree allowed me gain a broad background in visual studies and criticism and provided two positions including the 38th Kodak Lecture Series - a long-running student-run lecture series that aims to bring forth artists, curators, historians and theorists in the form of lecture and conversation-based discussion to the public
In 2014, I was hired as a photographic archive assistant to the Toronto Star photo archive. Within a team-based cataloging project, we achieved daily quotas in cataloguing and continuious conditioning procedures of photographic images. My ability to interpret both visual and textual information is reflected in the data entries of over 60 images per day at a rate of 90-95 words per minute. After the completion of the project, over 800,000 catalogued photographs from the Star were eventually donated to the Special Collections department at the Toronto Reference Library, making the project a significant donation to the public institution of Toronto.

As assistant to Mr. Elder, my role also included the copy editing of footnotes for his book Harmony and Dissent: Film and Avant-garde Art Movements in the Early Twentieth Century.
