Attributes that best describes:
I worked for the Arizona Republic in Phoenix for 27 years as a journalist, editor and copy editor, contributing to both the print and online (AZ CENTRAL) versions of the newspaper. I also worked as the managing editor of the Plains-Valley Online News where I was responsible for content, editing, copy editing and matters of communications law. I'm currently working out of my home office as an editor/proofreader for the English-language newspaper A.M. Costa Rica. I blog a section called CR Report in which I translate stories from Spanish-language newspaper into English and write them up as summaries. I write the blogs in WordPress. I also am responsible for a section called A.M. Cuba. I edit and design pages from wire service copy and articles submitted by free-lancers.
I am very familiar with content management systems such as WordPress (in fact, I work in WordPress every day), Microsoft Office 2013, Word's track changes, Acrobat's proofreader tools, Google Docs and both AP style and Chicago Manual of Style.
