I have worked successfully as an account manager and executive in the online legal research arena. I have worked professionally as a masters degrees librarian in academia, public and private libraries and school librarianship. I worked as a lead researcher on a high profile criminal case for the defense and assisted with the testing and training of software used in the case to conduct legal research. I have also worked briefly as a risk manager. I have a plethora of skill sets including online research, training, counseling, in-office relationship mediation, event planning, communication, advocacy, etc. My insight and ability to think ahead are second to none. I am a problem solver. I am an good listener and speaker, easy learner and efficient at multitasking. I understand confidentiality and have a great work ethic. I can work independently and within guidelines. I can lead and follow. People like me and trust me. I have integrity. I have a masters degree as a librarian(MLIS) and a law degree (JD) but I have never sat for the bar or practiced law. My law degree and skills have given me an advantage in every position I have ever held. Past employers have always recognized me as a valuable employee. I present well and give a positive impression.
