I was born in Texas and raised in the international oil patch and by 1984 when I graduated high school in Thailand I had traveled in a dozen countries and visited over half of the states in the US. The exposure to foreign cultures fueled my thirst for knowledge and a gypsy spirit that has stuck with me since. I love to read and more often than not can be found with my laptop close by.
