I'm primarily a content guy, a writer and editor. Currently I'm writing B2B technology marketing content, but my truest love is employee communications (B2E). I code and design a little, so maybe I have the overlaps to reinforce places where your team or workflow strains -- especially for reaching employees and other exclusive communities.
Take email newsletters, with their challenging combination of limited graphic design, old-school code and painstaking list management ... along with tons of content wrangling. I can do them as a one-man band or on a team, either from scratch or from your ideas. And I can integrate them with all your other channels.
Take blogging and other social media, whether out in public or inside your organization: On WordPress, SharePoint/Yammer and other platforms, I can write like the wind and moderate discussion with enough warmth, firmness and accuracy to foster an elusive state known as "productive dialog."
Take workflows in busy agency or in-house settings: I can write pithy headlines, subheads, captions and other short-form content to the word count (or even letter count) that fits your layout. Or just point me to a template in InDesign, Dreamweaver and others: I can pilot a project through content revisions myself, freeing designers to apply their crucial skills to the next project.
Take technical or complex topics: I can quickly wrap my head around any sticky wicket to portray it in simple steps. What's more, I can help an audience grasp _why_ tackling a topic is relevant and beneficial, so folks feel both informed _and_ supported enough to act.
