After working in the food service industry (restaurant kitchens, bakeries, food styling, catering, private chef) for 20+ years I find my maturity is discriminated in an industry that prefers youth over experience. I find my age not to be an issue but more of an asset. I am hard working, reliable, professional and eager. I am physically and mentally fit (I ran a 15K this past weekend). I want very much to stay in the workforce and am open to new opportunities.
