Hi, I'm Brit! I'm a freelance writer and editor with a few years worth of great experience writing for various blogs as well as editing everything from resumes and academic papers to newsletters and instructional manuals.

Throughout my education as an English major, I found even writing the longest of research papers to be a breeze. I always knew writing was my thing, my niche, my calling. It’s the one thing I have always been exceptional at, and the one thing that has always come natural to me. I began my college education as a Journalism major, having won scholarships as a freshman resulting from experience writing for my high school newspaper, where I won competitions in the state of Kansas for editorial writing. Eventually, I moved into the field of English Language Rhetoric as I found the details and command of syntax, grammar, rhetoric, and the overall history and evolution of the language intriguing.

Currently working as a freelance writer and editor, I have had to use my immaculate organizational and multi-tasking skills to successfully manage multiple assignments at once, never once missing a deadline. Being able to focus throughout the noisiest of situations makes working remotely perfect for me. The best part of my job is being able to research and constantly learn new things while having the opportunity to share my knowledge and skills for the benefit (and entertainment) of others.
My goal is to write pieces that can truly help a particular audience no matter the topic. Passion for me lies in helping others, and if I’m writing something that is able to benefit someone else out there, I have reached my goal.
