I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Specialization in Communication Studies from Concordia University and I believe that my academic profile and professional experience make me a strong candidate.
As a freelance copywriter/editor/translator I have worked on the development of slogans and social media campaigns for both startup and established companies. I most recently worked with 2 early stage online retailers and helped them develop their email marketing and product slogans.
During my time as a writer and member of the social media marketing team at B360 Media, I was responsible for engaging and interacting with the fan base on Facebook and Twitter for the Food Network show “Bitchin’ Kitchen”. I also provided new content and edited existing content to ensure that the online presence and overall direction of the brand was in line with the image established by the program’s host.
I have worked for The Montreal Gazette for the past 12 years in various departments. Throughout my there I gained valuable time management and research skills in coordinating with various divisions within the company and with my department leaders. I have worked productively with minimal supervision as well as provided positive customer service to clients.
