I did my Masters degree in French literature and Culture at King's college London and my bachelor degree in French literature at Université de Montréal with the last year abroad at Université Lille III.Professionally, I am collaborating with the French Magazine Nexus and I have been in the educational system for over seven years now, teaching a literary course to children in Canada, being a free-lance French tutor and a GTA in the French department at King’s College London in 2016. During this position I taught first and second year core language modules, covering subjects as translations, French grammar, writing methodologies and exercises such as stylistic analysis, commentary of a text in French and La dissertation à la Française.
My true passion is writing. I have been writing personal stories since I am about 10 years old when I first discovered the power of words. My master degree at King’s College allowed me to experience my passion through academic practice and researched-based papers. The literature part of my degree gave me freedom to explore literary writing within my discipline. I have studied many theorists, explored different perspectives and writing styles. I am now ready to dedicate myself to a translation and writing career.
