Strong analytical skills
I devoted the past year to becoming a better writer. I worked 50 hours as a reporter and an editor in addition to a full course load. Determined to keep improving, I produced original content in high-speed environments and learned from three different mastheads through the year.
Next to the rigorous and intensive Concordia Graduate Diploma of Journalism, I was working as an editorial intern for the award-winning Air Canada enRoute magazine and as an editor for Concordia University’s student newspaper The Link. I kept on working in this student space despite my schedule, dedicated to partake in the publication of a safe media advocating for equality and diversity.
I had to set my own schedule and juggled multiple responsibilities. I was also freelancing on the side as a photographer. Bilingual, I can adapt in challenging environments.
