For 20 years I worked in my family's specialty heavy construction company. It was a tunneling business. My duties were mainly administrative although I was involved in all aspects of running the business. I retired from this to become a stay at home mother. I raised two daughters. I was in the PTA at their school as well as being the room mother for their classes. I assisted the teacher as necessary and planned class parties as well as teacher appreciation events. I assisted with the school's annual talent event and organized the refreshment booths. Also during these years my daughters acted in local plays. During rehearsals and shows I assisted backstage in wardrobe and props or wherever help was needed. As an aside, I have personally produced and hosted one of the largest and best Halloween costume parties in Santa Clarita for the past 10 years and ongoing. Having as many as 150 people in attendance. I created the concept, staged it and have built props. Recently I have worked for Lush Cosmetics as a sales associate and key holder. I am a mature, intelligent, responsible and honest individual who has business experience as well as event planning experience. I am looking for an opportunity to utilize my skills and creativity.
