I am a 24 year old woman with a big passion for the world of Business and Entrepreneurship. After graduating from one of the most prestigious universities in Morocco, I landed my first job in a Fortune 500 company that specializes in IT services and hardware. I didn’t have any IT knowledge prior to that, but through training and hard work, I was able to manage a portfolio of more than 120 French companies which led to regularly meeting my sales target (avg 350 000$/quarter) and establishing a long-term relationship with my employer’s customers and partners.
Within that year, I had the opportunity to learn how a big multinational operates but decided that it was not for me, at least not yet. So, I started freelancing locally helping smaller companies with their Branding and Marketing Strategy . My aim was to provide my customers with the same top-notch tools used by large scale companies in order to grow their brand value in the market.
Working in a multinational with over 100 000 employees but also individually as a local consultant made me a team player who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as well as taking initiatives and actions on my own.
As much as I learned throughout my former education and professional experience, I wanted to expand my knowledge in marketing and internet technologies. That is why I recently moved to Montreal to pursue a graduate diploma in that field at McGill.
