Attributes that best describes:
I'm a blogger, cultural journalist, copywriter, editor, social media manager, creative writer, and digital nomad. I'm a clear, polished, astute writer as well as punctual, conscientious, and fun to work with. I have ten years of heavy blogging experience writing on many topics, and I'm very comfortable with Wordpress and SEO. You can see examples of my articles at my blog, themindfulbard.com, or just by googling "Wanda Waterman."
I love collaborating with others and also working on my own. I find ways to work as efficiently and effectively as possible, and am heavily results-driven. Under my leadership the social media department for one of my clients became self-supporting and gained a profit for the organisation (a nonprofit).
My poetry has been published in Descant, Skylight, The Talking Leaves, Chizine, Mythic Delirium, Perigee, Our Times, Tigertail, Pandora's Box, and Pottersfield Portfolio and my articles in Coastal Life, The New Internationalist, and This Magazine. I worked with Daniel Matmor and Heidi Von Palleske to create the television pilot script Digby Neck, optioned by Cirrus Productions. I also produced two art books, in collaboration with artist Susan Malmstrom, for which I wrote the poems (Echo Chamber and They Tell My Tale to Children Now to Help Them to Be Good).
Here's a recent commendation from one of my clients:
"I have to say this— you are one the finest writers I have worked with, it is so good to work with you. The way you take care of linking other posts, formatting, making sure everything looks fine and your attention to detail is commendable. . . It saves me an amazing number of hours and more than that the stress of formatting and linking other posts." ~Uberchord Engineering
Looking forward to hearing from you!
