Skills:
Through various experiences I have become an outgoing person who easily adapts to new/ever-changing situations whilst staying on top of crucial tasks, such as balancing academics as well as leadership positions. Many corporate values work hand in hand with those of my own as I too see the importance of being a committed and trustworthy person in each aspect of life while also maintaining a healthy, balanced life style. I am comfortable with experiencing new situations, and have grown to sincerely enjoy it; I thrive in an environment where I am able to collaborate and learn from my peers.

In addition to being flexible and personable, I take great pride in my organizational skills and devotion to what I choose to involve myself in. Throughout my university and high school career I have been involved in an extensive array of groups and athletics which allowed me to develop personally on a multitude of levels. Currently, I am a third year student, on scholarship, attending University of Ottawa for Economics and Public Policy with a minor in Statistics. Because I recognize the importance of involving myself in a diverse array of activities I have joined the University of Ottawa’s Campus Conservatives, the Finance Society, volunteer at an MP’s office as well as at the Ottawa Heart Institute and was Vice President of Finance for RESSA (student federation for a portion of University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Arts). Besides these activities I have also taken on a leadership role in my sorority – previously I was the Director of Finance for Alpha Phi’s Iota Upsilon Chapter as well as the acting Vice President, Risk Manager and social chair for the sorority. My past position was completely focused on the sorority’s finances in which I created the yearly budget as well as collected and redistributed the money. I then took on a role where I oversaw our social interactions, event planning and all safety protocols. I pride myself on being involved in a wide variety of clubs and activities that keep my life balanced as well as busy while I continue my studies.
