Customer Service/Tech Support

I am in search of a job in Technical Support, Customer Support, Customer Service or any other position that I may be qualified for.

Over the last 10 years most of my jobs have been contract assignments lasting mostly 3 to 6 months and have been mostly in the IT field but I am open to switching gears if something peaks my interest. I am most interested in a position where I can work independently and not be in a customer facing role except for the telephone. I am most happy when I can focus intently on a task and have few interruptions.

I want to be up front from the start and tell you I have Asperger’s, a high functioning form of Autism. People with AS have problems with social skills, lack of eye contact and in general like jobs that allow them to laser focus on a task or problem. They are also highly intelligent and love to solve difficult problems. This is me in a nutshell. I can also adapt to jobs other than those I have held for the last 10 years. I am good with people on the telephone and enjoy talking to people to solve problems and address their concerns just not in face-to-face situations.

I have spent the last 4 years doing customer support at LL Bean part time during their busy season on the phone and I do quite well in those situations. I also have had success in IT jobs that allow me to work independently where I am given a project and am left alone to complete it.
