I'm an accomplished engineer with over 10 years of experience in product development and commercialization. I'm originally from the auto industry, where I utilized my genius with large datasets and the science behind them to set strategy, develop systems, and validate products. I've done this with a variety of software packages, and I've used this to develop mainly alternative energy vehicles form passenger to class 8 trucks with advanced technology (i.e. electric, hybrid, fuel cell, and natural gas).
I started Qiewie (pronounced Kiwi) to map the 21st century economy and create simple visualizations from complex data. To date we've mapped the US consumer economy down to statistics in over 43,000 zip codes. We've created a sustainability dashboard that shows what the value would be for consumer in the scenario of a carbon tax. This even includes emitters from oil companies to manufacturers, and what their annual output of emissions are. We even just started a contract for one company mining crowdfunding and social media sites to give them an understanding of consumer trends.
I'm really passionate about making art with data so anybody can relate to it no matter how complex the dataset. But most importantly, I can understand analysis paralysis with leaders and teams, and I love helping people get passed that to strategize what to next!
