Attributes that best describes:
Strong analytical skills
I have grown up with a strong interest in entrepreneurship and have developed an interest in programming and software development. I have had experience working within McGill, specifically in the McGill student’s Promoting Empowerment and Knowledge club. Being an executive member of this club, I have a passion for self-development and have organized events that aim to help students with both technical and non-technical skills. For example, one event required me to contact and ensure the attendance of several guest speakers that could speak on entrepreneurial ventures, and their experiences in their respective fields. In contacting these speakers I created ways to interest each of them and make the event worth their time. I also found that through professional persistence I was able to land the best speakers available, which lead to a successful event generating positive feedback from both the speakers and audience.
Furthermore, I possess excellent verbal and written communication skills that can be utilized within a team. In the McGill business school, we are often tasked with several group projects at once. Managing these projects and working with each group simultaneously has become a normative occurrence for me, and I enjoy the outcomes that a group can create. Through an abundance of group-work experience in both the athletic and academic environments, I have developed excellent communication skills that are essential to successful teamwork.
