Skills:
I am a freelance writer and translator (French/English) based in Quebec, Canada. I specialize in creating content for children (stories, activities, puzzles, recipes) and adults (parenting, recipes, personal essays, romance, writing craft). My writing has been published by magazine and book publishers, in print and online. You can view samples of my writing on my website.
My work for children has sold to Highlights, Spider, Roar Kids, Girls’ World, Animal Tales, Clubhouse, Boys’ Quest, Fun For Kidz, Hopscotch, Bazoof, On the Line, Vegetarian Baby & Child, and Brio.
My work for adults has appeared in Canadian Running, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Our Times, The Townships Sun, The Sherbrooke Record, Bazoof, SCBWI Bulletin, Funds for Writers, Writing for Children’s Magazines, Children’s Writer, and Children’s Writer eNews.
I am currently completing a series of five French ebooks aimed at teens with intellectual disabilities for the Commission scolaire de Montréal.
As a translator, I’ve worked mostly in the toy industry (Alex Brands, Family Games America, Design Edge) translating packaging, instructions, and manuals from English to French. These covered a wide range of products including bath toys, outdoor equipment, science kits, board games, beauty products, and arts & crafts supplies.
I'm a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and the Quebec Writers’ Federation.
