Attributes that best describes:
Thanks to my previous jobs and freelance work experience, I have developed strong organizational skills, attention to detail and communication skills.
Those include a relevant experience in assistant management and client facing: I have been the assistant manager of a media library, where I managed long-lasting working relationships with clients and staff, by meticulously organizing my workload and deadlines, answering formal emails and phone calls, updating the library systems, learning to be confident in attracting new potential clients, improving my analytical skills, achieving excellent planning and scheduling skills, and acting as a PA to my senior manager.
Moreover, thanks to my M.A. (at The University of Nottingham) in social media marketing for the creative industries, and my various freelance experiences, I am keen on creating innovative ways to drive traffic to several different platforms, dealing with customers and their queries, expanding my clients’ online presence, and developing innovative transmedia marketing strategies.
I have excellent Microsoft Office work experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), I am MAC and PC literate, I am highly discrete, responsible, and I can deal with tight deadlines.
Italian is my native language, and - even if I cannot assert to have a B.A. in Linguistics or Translation - my high-school classical studies allow me to be more than competent in translating different kind of texts from English to Italian: I enrolled in one of the most renowned Italian lyceums, where I studied the Italian and English morphology, syntax and semantics for five years, as well as the ancient Greek and Latin, which are indispensable to fully understand the basics of linguistics.
Then, my comprehensive knowledge of the Italian language afforded me to get a B.A. in one of the most prestigious Italian universities (La Sapienza), within the Literature and Philosophy faculty.
Therefore, even if I am not formally a translator, I can consider myself more than suited to that role, having acted as a translator for some Italian TV series, as well.
To sum up, I am a social media and transmedia strategist, I have a deep knowledge of marketing, audience research, the translation of documents/contracts/creative texts, and I have been acting as a freelance consultant for several media projects in different countries.
