I'm a full-time video editor/cinematographer at Healthination. Healthination is a URAC (accredited by U.S. Department of Health) approved digital video publisher of science health news providing videos for Comcast and other major entities. My role consists of structuring and editing videos using Adobe Premiere and motion graphics with Adobe After Effects. As well as bringing journalistic insight as well as social media prowess due to my experience at previous publications.
In my free time I work on a docu-series (one man band) about children with learning differences across the world. I'm constantly looking for freelance opportunities and always trying new things. (thinking about acting classes.) I also complete a weekly podcast on apple music called B.A.E. (Black Angry and Educated.)
My previous experience includes working for a digital video publisher that specialized in political news, breaking news, and social storytelling producing videos for Time, USA Today, Hearst, and People. I traveled the world for 3 months working on a sports documentary focused on getting kids off the couch through some sort of sport. I had the opportunity to visit Chile, Argentina, Australia, Canada, Germany, Austria filming and playing skiing, snowboarding, ice climbing, kayaking, basketball, tug of war, and trapeze. I also helped start a digital video department at Medical Daily which focused on short 3 minute stories and social videos. We earned over 17 million unique views and over 3 million likes on Facebook.
