Attributes that best describes:
I'm in my last year of university at McGill University. I am majoring in Cultural Studies, which is a subset of the English Literature program at my school. Through my studies and various extracurriculars at university, my communication skills as well as collaborative capabilities have excelled. My time studying within the department of English literature has taught me a wide array of skills, such as scholarly writing and the ability to culturally contextualize and closely analyze literature, media, scholarly works, and more. Because English Literature is a dynamic field of study, it does not limit its students to a specific career path; I feel that my skillsets reflect this dynamism. Additionally, my work experience varies from hospitality to administrative assistance. I've worked jobs such as a cashier, barista, hostess, cold calling, and administrative assistant in the office of a successful Zagat rated bakery and restaurant during the height of the busy season on the very heavily visited Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Additionally, I have experience organizing and advertising events for my university's German Students Association and editing the student produced German Studies journal. Finally, my language skills extend to my advanced grasp of French, German, and the Swiss German dialect.
