I have successfully achieved a BA degree and a Certificate in Writing from Western University and have developed extensive work experience in the Marketing, Sales, Writing, Customer Service, and Social Media industries.

I am a passionate and willing new Writer and Social Media Specialist looking for a unique opportunity to gain more experience. Presently, I work as a Social Media Specialist for Moxie's Courtneypark and I am responsible for content development, brand strategizing, blogger negotiations, and community involvement. Previously, I managed the Digital Marketing for Miori Boutiques and I was accountable for the set-up and content development for all social media platforms, including the production of weekly press releases. During this time, I increased the following and activity by 36%.

At Western, I focused my studies and extra-curriculars towards the Marketing and Writing fields. In an Airline Operations and Management class, I lead the marketing team in the initiation and establishment for a brand new airline. I created the logo and sample commercial. I took various courses such as Fashion Writing, Web Writing, Creative Writing, and Professional Writing to develop an extensive knowledge of numerous Writing styles. I have thoroughly studied Marketing and Communications, Management, Human Resources, Writing, Microsoft Office, and HTML during my undergraduate studies.

Additionally, I managed the Western Aviation Student Council Instagram page and increased the following and activity by 65%. During my last year at Western, I wrote for HerCampus.com and produced various articles. In 2014, I launched my own website and social media marketing initiative called, The Unsavvy Trend. With this, I worked collaboratively with other businesses and organizations to establish brand awareness online. The website featured both written and digital content that included product reviews, current events, and personal tips and was updated on a regular basis. Since the launch, I have curated over 5,000 Instagram followers from all over the world. This experience taught me to manage negotiations, strategize, and develop product. To date, I have worked with numerous brands including Hangar9, Frank & Oak, and Mahabis, as well as activists groups like CAISA Fashion Show. I have learned that determination, consistency, reliability, and outside-the-box thinking can make branding unlimited.
