I worked for over 30 years as a secretary/admin assistant both in Montreal (a number of different positions over the years in small businesses - I prefer having a variety of interesting tasks) and in Paris, France (Canadian Embassy for 14+ years). I have done most administrative tasks at one time or another in my career including basic bookkeeping, purchasing, invoicing, presentation development, general tasks, customer service, French to English translation, dictation/transcription, reception. Upon my return from France, I returned to school and took a one-year Computer Technical Support program (AEC) which, though I did not stay in the industry very long, has made me a super-user when it comes to using most computer programs (including MS Office products), taught me to write basic HTML code and made me very proficient in internet research. For my part-time business and my personal life, I have taken numerous personal development classes, Level 1 and 2 courses in Dreamweaver (web design) to design my own website and I have written, developed and facilitated classes, workshops, circles and support groups since 2008. I am also one of the founding committee members who organizes and develops the Autumn Healing Adventure event that takes place in Worcester, MA every year.
I am a Montreal anglophone but learned to speak and write French in Paris, France.
