Site Administrator
Ledcor Industrial
Chinook Power Project
January 2018 to December 12, 2018
Working on site as the support to the project manager and all staff and craft. On a daily basis I handle document control, receiving, HR, payroll, timesheets, hours worked, logistics, onboarding, supplies, preservation, weld-mapping, requisitioning, scheduling, logging.
With document control I have to receive the documents, entailing electronically date stamping them, processing and electronically filing them for future use by our coordinators and staff. The craft and staff need to be able to access them in an efficient and timely matter so they can prepare them for the field. All material receiving is brought in from warehousing, so that it is organized and ready for payments, as well as to decipher client based materials. All HR for Ledcor on site is run through my desk, any payroll questions and rates are brought to my attention. Orientation and hire on packages for new craft is organized and sorted after being completed, then I complete rate information and send it to head office.
As this is site work meaning it is temporary, the next step with Ledcor is to travel to sites or to move, I truly love my job and I enjoy supporting the team I am working with in any role or task which is asked if me. As you can see above there are many hats to wear and I am quite adept at each one. That being said I would love to be able to stay closer to home if at all possible, and help grow a company locally.

Office Manager
Drivers Edge Inc.
January 2017 to November 2017
I handle accounts, both payable and receivable, dispatch, logistics, scheduling, students, Alberta Transportation, Lethbridge College, Medicine Hat College Brooks campus and Medicine Hat College and all office dealings including invoicing and month end. I truly enjoy this position and the people I work beside every day, I am looking for full time and right now. I basically handle all of the day to day running of the business for the company and its owners, which I love.

Home Care Worker
AHS - Medicine Hat, AB
August 2016 to January 2017
Working with a quadriplegic helping get him ready for bed and doing showering and morning routines. This was extremely physically demanding as he is 6 ft 3 and refuses to use a lift chair, but we have fun and occasionally I still help out when he is in need of someone.

Regional Sales Manager/Financials
Benchmark Digital Solutions - Moose Jaw, SK
March 2014 to November 2016
Responsibilities Contract negotiations, payroll, all financial and office work. I was part of the launch for this great company and if not for moving to Alberta for family , I would still be there.

June 2014 to March 2015
Since starting at Enercon Regina I had to be trained as an inside sales representative and then I was given the opportunity, quite abruptly I might add, to become acting manager of the branch. I learnt so many amazing staffing, training, financial ideas here and that is contributed to an amazing mentor who was patient and taught me the importance of teamwork. I handled all shipping, receiving, training, staffing, payroll, weekly sales and budget meetings. I still talk to many customers from here and to many staff members that were there.

February 2014 to June 2014
I was brought on as a temporary to help complete a seasonal turn around filing but it quickly turned into an accounts payable role for their busy spring season. This is where I realized I really like working with customers and accounts, and that I’m good at it.

Thunder Bird Lodge - Fort Qu'appelle, SK
September 2007 to March 2014
This is the most difficult job I have had, as you can imagine but it truly is rewarding. My family and I have considered going back into it here in Alberta and maybe one day we will. This taught me patience and understanding of the situation surrounding people, to never judge and always remain calm. We also adopted our eldest child from this experience and we are so grateful that she chose us.
