Originally from Brussels, Belgium, Lorna grew up spending time between Europe, North America, and West Africa.
In September 2012, she received a BA in Cinematography from the technical school of images, HELB, where she wrote and directed a short film (A Bout) and stepped into the shoes of a first assistant director to bring another short story to screen (Mordicus).
In October 2013, after expanding her film production training at one of Belgium's best film schools (IAD), she moved to Montreal and quickly started working as a Production Coordinator for Visual Effects companies such as Atomic Fiction and Rodeo FX.
In 2016, she reconnected with her passion for writing and acting and sought out new opportunities. Since then she appeared in a theatrical reading of the documentary play SEVEN, held at the YWCA in Montreal as well as in McGill's first production of "for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf" written by poet and playwright Ntozake Shange.
Currently, she can be seen on Radio Canada's new French dramatic TV series "5EME RANG".
Lorna also recently co-wrote a comedy-horror play in collaboration with Montreal "Festival de la Bête Noire" and worked as an Assistant to Producer on the Nicolas Cage thriller "A Score to Settle" (2019), coming out later this year.
In October 2019, she participated in the Reelworld's Festival Emerging 20 program where she pitched a feature film project that gathered producers and distributors' attention.
