Description

We are a start up working to improve the financial health of self-employed and freelance Canadians. We are looking for a freelancer to help build our brand visibility online.

Responsibilities:

Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to drive traffic, and applications for insurance.
Track, report, and analyze website analytics and initiatives and campaigns
Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
Research and analyze competitors’ websites
Develop and implement link building strategy
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
Increase visibility on major social media platforms
Suggest content writing ideas to increase ranking, and also suggest channel where articles should be posted
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Have the ability to multitask, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Work autonomously and independently
