I started my career in the year 2008 in Europe. I pursued the Swiss Hotel Association Diploma and a bachelor’s in business administration from Les Roches, International School of Hotel Management in Switzerland.
I am a keen observer of people and cultures and having worked in three countries and visited over ten countries, I have cultivated my knowledge and understanding of destinations, people, cultures, and cuisines. I am passionate about food and the connection we build with a culture through its food and gastronomy.
I believe in leading my teams through empowerment and motivating them by instating the long-term vision in the day to day activities. I create a cooperative culture within my teams and cultivate integrity, trust, and support as the core values. I steer through difficult situations and make critical decisions by using factual information to deploy analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
I built my foundation working in food and beverage operations with 5-star luxury brands namely leading hotels of the world and Kempinski hotels and resorts in Switzerland and Italy, where I gained rigorous LQA training and nurtured my inclination towards food and beverage management.
Further working with Laureate international universities in Switzerland in the career development and alumni relations, I created an international network and refined my people skills. By delivering workshops to international students and managing client relations, I collaborated with professionals, recruiters, students and Alumni worldwide.
My next assignment presented the opportunity of leading the pre-opening team at Papali hospitality services in India, which was a brand-new venture into upscale restaurants and events. As the general manager at Papali hospitality for the last six and a half years, I was responsible for heading the day to day operations of a fine dining restaurant, corporate events and I also directed the pre-opening and launch of an exclusive member’s club for one of our prestigious clients.
With my zeal to create unforgettable experiences, I have thrived by developing a rapport with my clients and offered excellent customer service through continuous training of my teams and drove them to achieve business objectives and personal career goals.
I further accepted an advisory board position to be the operations and marketing consultant for a biotech manufacturing firm. As the advisor at Bioschon Organics, I assisted in the development of a new brand and offered operational and marketing strategy including market research, positioning, branding, pricing, distributor appointment, supply chain management, inventory management, customer relationship management, operations, and administration.
I have cherished working with people from diverse backgrounds and learned a great deal about them and their cultures. I am determined to continue learning and growing by helping people around me grow and succeed. I believe in creating everlasting relationships with my colleagues, clients, and people who I meet along my journey through life.
